The anthropologist has taken on the character of Italo Calvino's Barone rampante, a man who went to live in the forest like a wild animal.
With the Baron as prey and the cameraman as predator, a chase through the tree tops ensues. The hunter, suffering from the nausea of vertigo, keeps losing sight of the animal he is trying to catch, as it hides amongst the luxuriant foliage of the forest.
