First Boys sitting on high branches of an oak tree in the woods, then destroying and breaking young oak trees up into little pieces. At length the young warrior comes to rest, transported on a Native American sledge along a Tuscan country track.
This begins with the boys sitting on the high branches of an oak tree in an idyllic setting in the woods. Then we see them destroying little oak trees as a form of rebellion against the hypocrisy of their fathers, who live in a stultifyingly static social climate. Exasperated they react by breaking the little trees into pieces. Finally the young warrior comes to rest, transported on a Native American sledge along a Tuscan country track.
